It has been a good long while since I updated the blog which is really quite slack of me.  I have a bit more time now and also have the desire to start writing again so I will do my best to add regular updates and also to catch up on [...]

I can only relate my own experience of this fever, other people may have had it far worse, or easier, that I.  Worldwide dengue is on the rise and is a major health concern for international health organisations and governments alike, although the disease is rarely fatal.

That was how I encountered the word “dengue” , back in 2002, the last time I went travelling.
